Edited prediction: Lions will beat Michigan

Now I know what it's like to be misquoted.

A couple of weeks ago we ran a story listing, with brief explanations, the Penn State football predictions from a number of writers who cover the Nittany Lions.

My prediction, accurately reported, was 10-3 with losses at Wisconsin and Ohio State. Much to my surprise, however, I learned that I'm also predicting a loss to Michigan.

I'm not.

It turns out the intern who gathered the information, Tyler Long, misinterpreted my comment about Michigan. For the record, I think Penn State will beat Michigan and lose a third game somewhere else, maybe at Purdue, maybe at Iowa, maybe in a bowl game depending on the Nits' mindset.

And for the record, Tyler Long did an excellent job as a Mirror intern covering the Curve this year.
