| | Literally, starting hereSeptember 7, 2008 - Buck FrankHere we go! Two hours before kickoff at Heinz Field. It's a beautiful, sunny day, reminding me of past openers against the Bills, Titans, Raiders and Ravens. Of course, the Steelers won all of those games. Several Texans and Steelers are on the field warming up, not in full gear yet. Fans are starting to trickle in. The Steelers are paying tribute to Dwight White, Ernie Holmes and Myron Cope before the game. All three died this past year. Charlie Daniels is singing the national anthem. Pittsburgh radio stations were playing his song, "In America,' this morning. That's the one that mentions, "you just go lay your hand on a Pittsburgh Steeler fan ...' If you're watching on TV, Gus Johnson and Randy Cross will call the game for CBS. Johnson has probably called more Steelers games than any other network announcer in the last five years. Should be a good game. | EZToUse.com |
