Just a few notes from the Steelers' 38-10 win over the Bengals:
#This was a rare four-touchdown victory where you could criticize the Steelers. There is no way they should have had just a three-point lead at halftime and a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter. They probably would have lost to most other NFL teams in that situation.
#There is a word for what the Bengals are to the Steelers.
#With the Giants coming to Pittsburgh this week, the big story will be whether or not Troy Polamalu will play after colliding with Cedric Benson. With Bryant McFadden already out of the lineup, the Steelers' secondary will have its hands full if Polamalu doesn't play. I'd hate to see Tyrone Carter trying to stop Brandon Jacobs in the open field or William Gay covering Plaxico Burress.
#This may sound odd, but the Steelers' offensive line is becoming one of the best in the league. It's not because they're getting any better -- it's just as the NFL season progresses and more and more teams are suffering injuries on the line, the Steelers' overall good depth (Stapleton, Starks, Essex) is rising above other teams.'
#Quick trivia: Who sang the disco hit, "More, More, More' that was featured in the headline on the Mirror sports page Monday and in Ray Eckenrode's blog?
