Reed aids Sheetz marketing efforts
February 15, 2009 - Neil Rudel
In trashing the bathroom at the convenience store's New Alexandria location, Pittsburgh Steelers' kicker Jeff Reed did Sheetz a favor.
The story was carried in papers throughout Pennsylvania as well as nationally courtesy of the Associated Press.
Sheetz was also being mentioned on ESPN Sunday.
Moral of the story: If a celebrity is going to erupt over an alleged lack of towels in a bathroom, it might as well be at Sheetz rather than a 7-11.
The convenience store chain, founded and based in Altoona, ought to send Reed some free MTO coupons.
