Ex-Nits getting into agent business

August 11, 2009 - Neil Rudel,39338,USABL,WK33Y2009,W32Y2009&fid=69373fb472e94f18a1fb728d5e21411b&Token=&media=Text&slug=BC-FBN--Bills-Maybin,1st%20Ld-Writethru&format=nitf&site

Former Penn State players are showing up in the NFL business world.

And where would be the first place ex-Lions would go to get players? You got it.

Chafie Fields is now making his mark as an agent. He's representing Aaron Maybin, who also counts former Lion great LaVar Arrington as part of the entourage.

It's interesting since Maybin gave up not one but two years of eligibility in order to enter the NFL early. Maybin's decision turned out to be the right call financially, as he went to the Buffalo Bills with the 10th overall pick.

Arrington also left PSU early.

Keep an eye on linebacker Navorro Bowman, who will be eligible to come out early after this season.

And keep an eye on what agent winds up representing him.

Bowman has already switched his No. 18 to No. 11 -- the same number Arrington wore at PSU.
