If you aren’t from State College, or if you don’t follow the USA Track & Field Road Championship race scene, you might say Rebecca who? Well, Rebecca is a State College resident. She is the head coach of the State College girls’ cross country team and an elite professional runner who placed second in two USATF road championships in the past month (5K in 15:30, and 10K in 32:28). In the words of today’s guest columnist, “Rebecca is seriously fast, but horribly under-recognized in our area.” .
