Batch out, and other Steelers fallout

November 23, 2009 - John Mehno

OK, when your backup quarterback plays for the first time since 2007 and immediately breaks his wrist, you start thinking maybe this isn't your year.

That's what happened to the Steelers' Charlie Batch. Called upon to replace the injured Ben Roethlisberger, Batch got hurt and now faces surgery.
