Harpist at the Library~

January 7, 2010 - Emily Dimov-Gottshall

I recently went to the library and to my amazement was greeted to beautiful harp music flitting about as if I had stepped into an enchanted world. I admit I was rather taken by this and stood for a bit as I got off the elevator. I glanced around in amazement and there on the 2nd floor was the harpist. Was this a temporary blessing before the Christmas season began? Would others be able to enjoy this sweet addition to the quiet of the library? I looked up their website and low and behold there it was! The beautiful Harp music of Mr. Robert Myers! In fact, he will be playing again on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Altoona Area Public Library. Listen from 10 AM - 12 PM and 1 - 3 PM from the Library's 1st or 2nd Floor.

I highly recommend this. It is relaxing and surprisingly wonderful in an already well loved environment. I may drop by just to welcome in the New Year with such lovely melodies.
