Of course, the song’s title is obviously evocative of Christ’s darkest hours and the religious imagery is thick ("I hear the rapture’s coming / They say he’ll be here soon"), not just on this track, but on the entire 2008 album by the Gutter Twins (a collaboration between Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan, taking their name from the famous Oscar Wilde quote).
