Locality Gallery

About a month ago, my husband and I went over to Bedford. We wanted to see what type of galleries were in the area and see what might be a good fit for us. Well, we found quite a bit of a surprise at the variety and the friendliness of a growing art scene. It was a bit chaotic running after my almost 3 yr old but I got some pics of the shops and esp. of Locality Gallery. They have a cool art studio where they can teach you different techniques and offer workshops as well as exhibiting space.

I was impressed by the pop style of many pieces mixed with a folksy primitive feel. I wish my pics came out better...definitely worth a trip to Bedford to take a look. I plan on going back, maybe on a Saturday and perhaps, with the kids for a workshop experience. Seems like a fun thing to try and maybe make something that the whole family can create together.
