Group clowns with monster

HUNTINGDON - Three clowns mix the frightening Frankenstein story with comedy and acrobatics in "500 Clown Frankenstein," to be performed at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 in Rosenberger Auditorium in the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts on the Juniata College campus.

Tickets are $20 for the general public and $12 for seniors over age 54 and children ages 18 and under and free for Juniata students. For tickets and information, call 641-JTIX.

Comic brings act to BJC

UNIVERSITY PARK - Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will bring his latest tour to Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center at 8 p.m. Jan. 29.

Tickets are $48 for the general public and $20 for Penn State students. STATE COLLEGE - Grammy Award-winning blues guitarist/singer Jonny Lang will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 5 at The State Theatre.

Country star going on tour

HERSHEY - Country music star Wynonna will take her critically acclaimed holiday album, "A Classic Christmas," on tour this winter, stopping at the Hershey Theatre for a show at 8 p.m. Nov. 28.

The show features Wynonna (formerly of The Judds) singing such holiday classics as "White Christmas" and "Winter Wonderland."

ASO opening second show

The Altoona Symphony Orchestra will hold its second concert of its 81st season, "The Force of Destiny," at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Mishler Theatre.

Maestra Teresa Cheung will conduct the concert, which will feature Verdi's "La Forza del Destino Overture," Strauss' "Serenade for Winds" and "Four Last Songs," as well as Mendelssohn's "Symphony No. 4." Guest soprano Carolyn Betty will be featured on "Four Last Songs."

Dance group visits PSU

UNIVERSITY PARK - "Clytemnestra" will be performed by the Martha Graham Dance Company at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5, in Penn State's Eisenhower Auditorium.
