Regarding the letter by Ron Stauffer on "Mirror doing its job," it's apparent to me that Stauffer has substantiated himself as "without sin," as it appears that he is quite eager to cast that proverbial first stone.
Kudos to those who wrote the kind words in Monsignor Anthony Little's defense, and shame on Stauffer for the ignominious comments which spewed from his pen in a futile attempt do dishonor a respectable, honest priest.
Monsignor made a mistake, and if not for Lady Luck, many of us may have been in his shoes.
Perhaps all of us should heed the words, "judge not, lest ye be judged," and "to err is human, to forgive, divine."
It may behoove Stauffer to remember those words, if a similar happenstance should befall him, family member or friend, whether their occupation be farmer, plumber, construction worker or priest.
