Years involved with FFA: 2
Amount of time spent on FFA: It's a year-round thing. You do it every day.
FFA projects: Primarily focused on sheep
Favorite FFA memory: Last year a bunch of us went to an overnight camp near State College. It was pretty fun. We had big meetings and learned about skills that would help us as an FFA member.
FFA accomplishments: I got my Greenhand Degree last year; it's for any new FFA members. Teachers nominate students who are selected for their award. I became vice president this year also.
How has FFA prepared you for your future aspirations: I'm not positive if I want to become an equine veterinarian or an FFA teacher. I'm not sure yet, either one of the two. FFA made me a stronger person. It motivated me to be myself and help others. It also helped a lot with communication skills and team-building skills so I know how to get along with everybody.
Quote: FFA to me is a way to get out there and show people what you can do and how you can help better not only yourself but others. I think we're going to make a big difference in our world.
