Blues artists play at resort
SEVEN SPRINGS - Some of the area's best blues musicians will perform during the Foggy Goggle Blues Series this summer at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
The series features the Billy Price Band on July 9, the Norman Nardini Band on Aug. 13 and the Nighthawks on Sept. 3.
All the shows start at 6 p.m., and admission is free.

'Picasso' play bows June 28
STATE COLLEGE - The State Theatre will present "My Name is Pablo Picasso," directed by State College's Elaine Meder-Wilgus, at 8 p.m. June 28 through July 3 and at 2 p.m. July 2 and 3.
This one-act piece was written by playwright Mary Gage and established her as one of Australia's celebrated dramatists. Subsequently, she was invited by Penn State's Australian Studies Centre to teach here in 1987.
The play had its first American performance at PSU's Palmer Museum of Art in 1989, and again Off-Off Broadway at the South Street Theatre in?New York in the 1990s.

Kid Cudi tour comes to Trib
PITTSBURGH - "The Cud Life Tour," featuring critically acclaimed alternative hip hop artist, Kid Cudi, with special guest Chip Tha Ripper, will come to the Trib Total Media Amphitheatre for an all-ages show at 7 p.m. Aug. 1.
Kid Cudi's first two albums, 2009's "Man on the Moon: The End of Day" and 2010's "Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager," reached the Top 5 on the Billboard album charts. He is scheduled to release his third album this summer.
General admission tickets are $42 in advance and $45 on the day of the show and will go on sale at noon Saturday. Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster. com and charge-by-phone by calling 800-745-3000.

CPA season tix on sale
UNIVERSITY PARK - Individual-performance and discounted Choice series tickets for 29 professional touring presentations at Eisenhower and Schwab auditoriums go on sale to the public at 8 a.m. Monday.
Tickets for two Penn State School of Music featured concerts at Eisenhower will also go on sale to the public this week, at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The September 2011 through April 2012 Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State season features a variety of music, theater and dance presentations, including the Centre County debuts of the touring Broadway musicals "American Idiot," "In the Heights" and "Young Frankenstein."
The season also features music, dance and childrens' theater performances.
