Hobby Lobby Stores, a privately held chain of arts and crafts stores, has signed a lease to open a store in Morningside Plaza before the end of the year.
Hobby Lobby will occupy the former A.C. Moore location and about half of the former Giant Eagle location, said Erica Meekins, spokeswoman for Divaris Real Estate Inc., Virginia Beach, Va..
Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla., Hobby Lobby has 480 stores across the United States. Each location employs about 35 to 40 full- and part-time employees. Morningside Plaza will be Hobby Lobby's seventh store in Pennsylvania.
