My sports claim to fame: I knew Mirror sportswriter Scott Franco when he was a scorekeeper for the Altoona Parochial League and I coached St. John's boys basketball. Great memories!
If I were the czar of local sports, the one thing I would change would be: Keep sports fun for our youth as long as possible, making it a healthy social activity.
