Andrew Rebar, 89, Houtzdale, died Friday. He was born in Houtzdale, son of the late Micklas and Julia (Hanicherick) Rebar. He married June Ann Wilkinson on Sept. 28, 1947. Surviving are his wife; three daughters: Andrea Anderson, Susan Mondock and Kathleen McCoy; three sons: Andrew, Daniel and David; 15 grandchildren; four brothers: Vincent, William, Leonard and Micklas; and two sisters: Julia A. Zendeck and Mary Rose Rebar. He was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Paul; and two sisters: Francis and Margaret. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey.
