March 28, 2012
The Altoona Mirror

Furrer Beverage, Sheetz, the Altoona Mirror, WRKY-FM 104.9 and WTAJ TV are teaming up to once again sponsor the 24th annual Co-Ed Wallyball Tournament to benefit the Blair County Respiratory Disease Society.

The event will be held April 19 to 22 at The Summit Tennis & Athletic Club, Altoona.

Wallyball is basically like volleyball, only played on a racquetball court. Teams consist of four members on the court (at least one must be female). A maximum of 10 people per team is allowed. The event has three divisions: beginners, intermediate and advanced. Teams enjoy a weekend of fun, food and camaraderie.
