The American Cancer Society Team OZmosis "Paddle for a Cure" event will be held May 12 on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River from the Joe Ritchey Bridge, Tatesville to the Coopers Sawmill in Hopewell.
This is approximately a 10-mile course. Check in and registration is from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
Registration is $20, payable to "Team OZmosis," American Cancer Society. Pledges or donations of $100 will receive a free T-shirt. Chances are also available to win a kayak. The drawing will be at the close of the event.
Food and drink will be available at the end of the event.
