Barbara J. Filby, 80, Roaring Spring, died early Sunday morning at Homewood at Martinsburg.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Clara (Tellian) Eppich. She married Donald L. Filby on Sept. 29, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband of over 60 years; three daughters: Linda Kimmel and husband, Philip, of Louisville, Ky., Jane Leipold and husband, Michael, of Harrisburg and Sandra Miller of Reading; a son, Donald J. Filby and wife, Linda, of Roaring Spring; four granddaughters: Jennifer Smith, Christina DeGennaro, Natalie Kimmel and Brooke Kimmel; five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Laney, Matthew, Leah and Dillon; and a brother, Daniel Eppich of Mentor, Ohio.

Mrs. Filby was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Barbara enjoyed dancing and her volunteer work at Nason Hospital.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg (www.sorgefuneralhome.com), where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, with Father Clement G. Gardner, celebrant.
Committal will be at Green Lawn Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
