Eva Mae Fogal, 78, Altoona, died early Saturday morning at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Elmer Elliott and Katherine (Reeseman) Elliott Church. She married Harry E. Fogal Sr. on April 17, 1950, in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2011.
Surviving are two sons: Bill Fogal and wife, Pam and Rick Fogal and wife, Penny, all of Altoona; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Harry E. Fogal Jr.; and two sisters: Joan Wilson and infant, Patricia Elliott.
Eva enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she took great pride in maintaining her home.
Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John P. Klingeman officiating.
Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
