Sen. John H. Eichelberger Jr. and his wife, WTAJ's Charlotte Ames, will return to Tyrone this weekend to once again serve as Doggie Dash ambassadors for Tyrone's third annual 5K Doggie Dash Race/Walk on Saturday, July 28.
The race benefits the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society. Walkers and runners are encouraged to participate with or without their pets. For more information or registration, call Deb Moore, race organizer, at 684-1493.
