Florence L. "Casey" Casey, 91, Cresson, died Tuesday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Mount Pleasant, daughter of the late John and Sussie (Miller) Snider.
Surviving are two sons: Patrick (Judy) of Cresson and Steve (Robin) of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren: Benjamin (Elizabeth), Amanda (Matthew) Harding, Shana, Lauren and Emma; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; a son, Barry; a daughter, Mary Lou; four brothers: Ernest, Jake, Lester and Donald; and two sisters: Edna Vance and Peggy Hershberger. She was the last member of her family.
Casey worked at the former Publix Shirt Factory, Gallitzin, and retired from Cresson State School as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She was a former Girl Scout leader in Gallitzin and a member of a bowling league in Gallitzin.
Friends will be received from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, July 27, 2012, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, the Rev. Joy Blackburn officiating. Committal will be in Union Cemetery, Gallitzin.
