A 19-year-old man died early Saturday morning after losing control of his car on Sugar Run Road.
The driver, whose name was withheld pending notification of family, was heading east when his vehicle went off the road and struck several trees about 6:25 a.m.
Allegheny Township police said the driver was the only occupant in the car.
He died of severe blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the crash site, police said.
Allegheny Township police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact their office at 695-3333.
Township police were assisted at the crash site by the Allegheny Township Volunteer Fire Department, Duncansville Emergency Medical Services and fire companies from Cambria County.
