PSU recruit Fuller switches to Notre Dame

Another 2013 football recruit has changed his mind about going to Penn State and decided to sign elsewhere.

Will Fuller, who holds the Philadelphia city record for receiving yards in a game, switched his verbal commitment from Penn State to Notre Dame after taking a visit to South Bend, Ind. on Saturday, Brian Dohn of Scout.com reported on Sunday afternoon.

Fuller's announcement came less than 24 hours after Nittany Lion wideout Justin Brown transferred to Oklahoma for his final season. It also comes seven days after he reaffirmed his pledge to Penn State with five other recruits during a group unofficial visit.

Fuller, who originally committed to Penn State in June, is the third 2013 recruit to decommit from Penn State and the second since the NCAA announced unprecedented sanctions on the school in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal; Ohio cornerback Ross Douglas switched from Penn State to Michigan.

The Lions now have 11 verbal commitments in this recruiting class.
