William C. "Bill" McMullen Jr., 86, Northern Cambria, died Tuesday. He was born in Spangler, son of William C. Sr. and Agnes McMullen. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice; three children: Kathleen Loman, William C. III and F. Daniel; six grandchildren; and eight siblings: Paul, Robert, Ronald, James, Charles, Patrick, Mary Ellen and Shirel. He was preceded in death by a sister. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
