Mildred H. "Millie" Bakale, 84, Dysart, died Saturday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in St. Michael, daughter of the late Anthony and Luba (Mandgroc) Ribaric.
Surviving are five children: Judy Overberger (Bill) of Northern Cambria, Robert J. (Darlene Lindsey) of Dysart, Nancy Wagner (Bill) of Northern Cambria, Patty Strittmatter (Frank) of Ebensburg and Mary Kay Paronish (Steve) of Dysart; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three sisters: Ann Bakale of Patton, Millie's twin sister, Mary Rafacz of Sun City, Fla., and Louise Patrick of Northern Cambria.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Bakale, on March 4, 2005; two grandsons: Robert Melvin Wagner and Lucas Robert Bakale; a sister, Caroline; infant brother, Frank, and brother, Anthony.
She was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union and St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir and Altar Rosary Society.
Millie enjoyed gardening, baking and sewing and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, where a vigil service will be held Monday afternoon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Fleming, Celebrant.
Committal will be in the church cemetery.
