Route 164 west of Portage in Cambria County is closed from Portage to the Blair County line due to a depression that has developed on the shoulder and has caused cracking on the roadway, PennDOT said Tuesday.
Crews will be on scene Wednesday assessing damage and implementing a repair plan.
A detour is in place that will follow Frankstown and Springhill Roads. The 10-ton weight limit on these roadways has temporarily been lifted.
