Samuel A. Gailey Jr., 91, Ord, Neb., died Sunday. He was born in Williamsburg, son of Samuel A. and Emma (Wetzel) Gailey. He married Maxine Cossey on Aug. 17, 1947, in Sterling, Colo., and she preceded him in death. Surviving are two children: Tom of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kathy of Denver, Colo.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two siblings: Margaret DeVany and James. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII. A funeral service was held Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Ord Memorial Chapel, Ord, Neb. Burial will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens, Cheyenne, Wyo.
