Lenny Scott Hampton, 54, Tyrone, died Friday at his residence.
He was born in Bellefonte, son of Robert C. Hampton and the late Janis (Thompson) Brown.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene (Shultz) Hampton of Tyrone; his father of State College; five stepchildren: Lisa (John) Walls, Edward Shultz, Ronald "Dale" (Tracie) Gardner and Adam Gardner, all of Tyrone and Paulette (Brad) Hardy of Petersburg; 23 stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, Rodrick Hampton of Duncansville.
Friends will be received from 6 until the 7 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, with the Rev. Norman E. Huff officiating.
Military honors will be conducted by the Tyrone Veterans Honor Guard.
