Florence Marie Grum, 104, Altoona Center for Nursing Care, formerly of 414 E. Hudson Ave., Altoona, died Wednesday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Laurelton, daughter of Philip and Carolyn (Showalter) Blazier. She married John J. Grum on Dec. 27, 1926, in Altoona, and he died June 26, 1984.
Surviving are six children: Anna C. Boylan of Corinth, Miss., Mary E. Barley, E. Louise McCoy, Karen P. Winrick and Daniel L., all of Altoona, and Doris I. Robison of Erie; 36 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five children: John P., Ruth E. Horne, Barbara J. Merritts, Helen M. Rickard and Charles J.
Florence was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, Dan Norris officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
