Letters and opinion pieces in the Mirror claimed voter ID law was not needed, as there was not one conviction for 2008 fraudulent voting in our state.
Actually, thousands of fraudulent votes were cast, most in large cities in every state. The lack of convictions is explained by Christian Adams, a Department of Justice lawyer in his book "Injustice." Here signed in disgust at the Obama administration corruption, he tells how the DOJ is now manned by liberal radicals under Attorney General Eric Holder.
Now DOJ's mission is titled "Payback Time" by the staff. Criminal cases readied for trial were canceled by Holder. Example:?In Philadelphia, Black Panthers brandishing clubs intimidated white voters and blacks at the voting sites, frightening them away.
The blacks allowed in were accompanied by "assisters" to assure they voted for Obama. Now minority illegalities are ignored; only white cases are prosecuted.
There are known cases where military absentee votes were destroyed because the numbers favored Republicans.
Congress enacted a law forbidding taxpayer funds be given to ACORN that was responsible for most fraudulent votes in 2008.
Holder knows ACORN is still active under other names and is still getting taxpayer funds, but does nothing.
Federal law requires states to clean up voter rolls to remove dead and ineligible names; instead the DOJ is suing those states who do. State's rights are denied by an administration determined to destroy our constitution and to seize all power; every opportunity for a dishonest election is supported by the present government.
If ever voter ID were needed, it is now.
