UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State lost its season opener to Ohio, 24-14, at Beaver Stadium in the first game of the Bill O'Brien era.
Penn State led 14-3 at the half but saw Ohio's offense take command in the second half. The Bobcats gained 499 yards of total offense, with quarterback Tyler Tettleton completing 31-of-41 passes for 324 yards.
