Teressa I. "Tess" Renner, 74, Altoona, formerly of Williamsport, died Sunday. She was born in Sugar Valley, daughter of Jerome and Laura (Poorman) Slaterbeck. Surviving are three children: Pam Slaterbeck, Dean Rockey Jr. and Tina Clark; five grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Toner. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Arthur and Hiram Slaterbeck. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Route 405 Church of God, 7008 Route 405, Montgomery, Pa., Pastor Isaac Wilson officiating. Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home.
