Equalize tariffs, trade

September 12, 2012
The Altoona Mirror

In communist China, the communist party has absolute power over the entire population of the Chinese people.

As everyone knows, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Now the multinational corporations have climbed in bed with the communists. Many United States capitalists like the power that the communist have over their working people (slaves).

They know if they ship the working people's jobs to the communists, they can make enormous profits from their Chinese slaves and pay little or no taxes.

When they ship those products to the United States, they are charged a 2 percent tariff.

When we ship things to China, the communists charge us a 25 percent tariff.

We now have an enormous debt because we send so much money to the communists through unequal trade.

So many keep blaming the working people of the United States but never address the problems of unequal trade.

Under the Trade Act of 1974, Section 301 was designed to eliminate unfair foreign trade practices that adversely affect the U.S. trade and investment in both goods and services.

Under Section 301, the president must determine whether the alleged practices are unjustifiable, unreasonable or discriminatory and burden or restrict U.S. commerce.

If the president determines that action is necessary, the law directs that all appropriate and feasible action within the president's power should be taken to secure the elimination of the practice.

We Americans have seen so many jobs going to the communists by our capitalists so they can get around our Constitution and laws of the land. They couldn't get away with their criminal acts in the U.S.

It should be forbidden to import everything that was previously made in the U.S. into the U.S. from China, and everything else should be taxed at the same tariff rate as the communists tax U.S. imports.

That would balance our budget and get everyone working again and paying taxes to balance the budget.
