Deborah C. Allen-Smith, 56, Meadville, passed away Aug. 24, 2012.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William P. and Rita A. (Gority) Allen.
Surviving are two children: Alene D. Smith and Zebdiah J. Smith, both at home; five brothers: Paul Richardson, Sean P. Allen and wife, Linda, Michael E. Allen and wife, Cricket, William P. Allen and wife, Mary, and Joseph F. Fornwalt and wife, Kimberly, all of Altoona; her former husband, Peter O. Smith of Meadville; 14 nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and two very special friends: Rachel Pasikoski and Quintin Buttolph, both of Meadville.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, William C. "Itch" Fornwalt.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, 1 Cathedral Square, Altoona, the Rev. John Gibbons officiating. Committal rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St., Meadville, PA 16335.
