George Robert Brazzle Wood, 87, Epworth Manor, Tyrone, died Saturday at the Manor.
He was born at the Methodist Hospital in Gary, Ind., son of the late Charlotte (Wood) and Roy Lincoln Brazzle Sr.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Walter and Roy; and is survived by two sisters: Dorothy Wiskup of Stroudsburg and Beatrice Kepple of Mineral,Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
He attended school in Altoona, graduating from Altoona High School in 1943; from the Pennsylvania State University in 1947; and from law school at Western Reserve in Ohio.
He worked for many years for the City of Philadelphia and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
