Thomas Sheldon Graham, 82, San Antonio, Texas, died Tuesday.
He was born in Williamsburg and spent his childhood there.
Surviving are a son, Byron Lane of Williamsburg; three daughters: Cathy Henderson and husband, Rick, of Rockdale, Texas, Judy Brumback and husband, Rolfe, of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Patty Graham of San Antonio; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
After high school, Thomas spent time in the U.S. Army and also the Navy. He worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a cartographer, spending time in Washington, D.C., in the Army map service and time at the Fort Sam Houston Army map service. He retired to San Antonio in the mid-1980s and lived there until his death.
