Tuckahoe Plunkett went to the Rainbow Bridge on Sept. 11, 2012, after a brief battle with bone cancer.
Named for the park in which he was abandoned, Tuckahoe went to live in his forever home in August of 2009.
He lived a full, happy life during those three short years and showed his love every day.

Tuckahoe preferred to walk without a leash, loved to chase tennis balls and called "shotgun" when riding in the car. He loved to go to "school" at Happy Tails Doggy Daycare, where he could play with his friends. He attended the evening Miracle League games to see the kids and get a hot dog from the concession stand.
Tuckahoe was a gentle soul who smiled every day, patiently waiting by the window for his mom to come home. He was easily the "best dog ever!"
Tuckahoe's family would like to especially thank Dr. Yeager at Lakemont Veterinary Clinic for taking care of her "beach dog" and to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society for finding Tuckahoe and keeping him safe until he was adopted by his loving family.
Tuckahoe will be sadly missed by his mom, Kathy Plunkett of Hollidaysburg, his sister, Max, his special friend, Kayla, and all who knew and loved him
