Anna Martha "Marty" Hughes Burgoon, 89, Camp Hill, died Sunday at Golden LivingCenter-West Shore, Camp Hill.
She was the daughter of the late Bert and Anna (Harkness) Burgoyne. She married the late Lawrence M. Burgoon.

Surviving are two sons: William F. Hughes (Kathie) of Camp Hill and Bert P. Hughes (Christine) of Nyack, N.Y.; a daughter, Shelley J. Beyar (Richard A. Neff) of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren: Bill, Trista, Jennifer, Marissa and Dava; and three great-grandchildren: Christina, Andrew and Kevin Tiger.
Marty was a 1939 graduate of Altoona High School. As Marty Hughes, she owned and operated Marty's Distinctive Interiors, was a bookkeeper at Altoona General Hospital and finished her career as the manager of Kathie's Christmas in the Station Mall, Altoona.
Marty always had a kind word and a compliment for anyone she ever met. She will be sorely missed.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midnight Run, an organization that serves the homeless poor, 97 Main St., Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522.
