Adeline Louise Chestney, daughter of Brian A. Chestney and Teressa L. McCaulley of Altoona, died at birth Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.
Surviving are her parents; paternal grandparents: John M. and Tina L. Chestney of Altoona; maternal grandparents: James E. and Judy A. McCaulley of Altoona; great-grandparents: Mary O'Linyk, William and Flourine Chestney and Linda Williams, all of Altoona, and Alice McCaulley of Haddam, Conn.; and aunts and uncles: Amber, James and Avery McCaulley and Matthew Chestney, all of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by three great-grandfathers: George T. Buschle, Stan O'Linyk and Ken McCaulley.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lucas Foundation, 140 Oak St., Windber, PA 15963.
"We love you, and we'll miss you, although we never met. We only saw you for a second, but that second we'll never forget. Jealous of the angels who get to hear you speak, laugh, run, jump and fall while playing hide-and-seek. Mommy and Daddy pray, please keep watch over us while we wait for that one day when we too can feel your touch."
"Don't you worry, I am fine having fun up here in heaven. All the angels have already taught me one important lesson. You did everything you could, and with them all I concur, so Mommy, keep your head up, Daddy, I know you'll be strong for her. I know it will be hard, but there's one thing you cannot forget. I'll love you and I'll miss you, although we never met."
