This letter is in response to an opinion expressed from Lilly in the Oct. 6 Mirror titled "Romney can't relate."
It states that neither Mitt Romney, nor his father, nor Romney's five sons have ever worn a military uniform.
Romney apparently had four deferments from the military, thus having others go in his place.
As the wife of a man who did wear a military uniform, I would like to know the dates when Barack Obama or his father wore the uniform of the United States military.
What about the soldiers who went in Obama's place?
Born and raised in this country, Romney has been influenced by people who value the greatness of the United States and defend the principles of the Constitution.
Can Obama relate to that?
