I have known Richard Flarend for many years through our involvement with the Quaint Corner Children's Museum located on Union Avenue in Altoona.
Richard has spent countless hours volunteering his time to the museum in a wide variety of activities. He is currently the treasurer on the board of directors. He has tremendous dedication and enthusiasm for children and their ability to learn.
He donates his time to the museum from simple acts of patching a wall to difficult tasks such as designing, creating and building exhibits. His commitment to his family and his community are evident.
Richard has and will continue to fight for and stand behind the principals that he believes in, for the benefit of all of us in the 79th District.
