Anthony "Tony" Chambers, 65, Portage, died Tuesday. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Raymond and Esther (Bastine) Chambers. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Shawley) Chambers; children: Garry, Ray, Darryl, Colette, Vernon, Glenda, Christi and Dione; numerous grandchildren; and a sister, Darlene Plummer in Florida. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home PC, Portage, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012. Committal will be in Dunmyer Lutheran Cemetery, Salix.
