The Altoona Chorus of Sweet Adelines is preparing for its annual show at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Altoona Area Junior High School auditorium.
This year's presentation is titled "A Night in the Mall."
The featured guest is the Lustre Quartet from Baltimore. Formed in 2005, Lustre sings with the Harbor City Music Company Chorus and has been both medalists and champions in regional competition.
Its smooth style and dynamic blend of voices create a perfect balance for a capella singing. The Altoona Chorus will also feature local quartets, Sounds of Style, Q'nique and Sidetracked, as well as the Altoona Horseshoe Chorus.
The selections for this year's performance include "There Is A Meeting," "Jump Shout Boogie," "Thank You for the Music," "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" and many others.
