The Republican Party is taking pride in the tactic of "less government." On the other hand, President Barack Obama is concerned about education, employment, health care, Social Security and homeland security as well as programs for low-income and disabled families.
This brings more opportunities for people to live independently. A less-involved government, such as the GOP would result in less freedom for the people.
Medicare is now secure for at least 10 more years. Mitt Romney wants to put an end to Medicaid and the regulations that Obama accomplished with health care.
Romney wants to make huge cuts in our government employees. This plan would likely compromise our safety. More employees are needed since our nation was attached and we started a war against al-Qaida.
Obama has succeeded to create more non-government jobs without the cooperation of a Republican Congress. President Obama's faith shines through in his character.
