Dorothy I. DuBritz, 97, Portage, died Thursday. She was born in Portage, daughter of Andrew Sr. and Mary (Furman) Uhren. Surviving are four children: Anita Kalwasinski-Knouse, Dorothy Mrkich, Frank DuBritz and Mary Ann Cochran, all of Portage; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; six siblings: Joseph, John, Andrew Jr., Sophie Hall, Elizabeth Slage and infant Mary. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Loretto.
