Ralph E. Lang, 84, Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday at Altoona Regional.
He was born in Canoe Creek, Hollidaysburg, son of Thomas and Grace (Nash) Lang. He married Una Corl on June 25, 1946, at Hollidaysburg Church of God, the Rev. Westley Wright officiating.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years; two daughters: Patricia Smith and husband, Glenn, of St. Peters, Mo., and Cindy Svebel and husband, Paul, of Charlotte, Mich.; a son, Darrell and wife, Janet, of Carson Valley; three grandsons: Doug, Darrell Jr. and Derek; and a sister, Shirley Fisher of Akron, Ohio.
Ralph retired in 1990 after 30 years of service and had been employed with Mason and Dixon Lines Inc., Kingsport, Tenn., with more than 3 million over-the-road miles with no accidents or citations.
Ralph was a member of First Church of God, Hollidaysburg, and Juniata Lodge 282, F&AM. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a Masonic service will be held at 2:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. by Pastor Sharon C. Erb.
Memorials may be given to The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
