Richard L. Potter, 59, Cocoa, Fla., formerly of Altoona, died Nov. 6, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Stewart W. and Janet L. (Courter) Potter.
Surviving are four brothers: Dean of Pottstown, Homer in Florida and George Swartz and Thomas Potter, both of Altoona; and a sister, Diane of Pottstown.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy (Potter) Snyder.
Richard retired as a corrections officer in Camp Hill, and he liked the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There was no public viewing, and arrangements were made in Florida.
