More than 200 vocalists will perform in the "Voices of Altoona" concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the Altoona Area High School auditorium.
The Altoona Area High School and Altoona Area Junior High School will be represented by the Altoona Area High School Vocal Ensemble and the AAJHS Vocal Ensemble, respectively. All 10 Altoona Area School District elementary schools will be represented by the fifth- and sixth-grade members of the All-City Chorus.
The evening will begin with arrangements including a compilation of Green Day songs and "Linus and Lucy" by the Altoona Area High School Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Kelly Latten.

Kristin delGiudice, Jamie Hillard and Teri Myers will direct the 148-member elementary All-City Chorus as they sing “Nella Fantasia,” “Jazz Cantate” and “Dry Bones.” Kathleen Myers will accompany on piano. All singers will combine for a powerful final number.
Tickets are $3 and will be sold at the door, beginning at 6 p.m. Children ages 5 and younger will be admitted free.
